It's beginning to look a lot like FALL!!! So if you've been around for a while, you probably noticed how often I like to switch up my bedding. Last year I switched to the duvet lifestyle, something my "comforter" self wasn't comfortable with. Don't ask me why -- I've just never used duvets before! Welp, it's a gamer changer. As long as you have an insert, you can get hundreds of covers for countless bedroom refreshes!
A bedroom refresh can be an expensive project, and a huge undertaking. Instead of buying new furniture, repainting walls and blowing all your money on the most recent fad, duvets are an inexpensive way to transform the bedrooms in your house for less. Especially for those who get the itch to move things around and switch things up often.
Thanks to H&M, both our bedroom and our guest bedroom got a makeover for Fall. First, I purchased their washed cotton duvet cover in light brown (basically terracotta!) during their labor day sale, and I was not disappointed! I loved it so much that I instantly went back and bought it in khaki green for our guest bedroom. The quality is amazing, the colors are stunning, and the comfort is unbeatable. With a look and feel similar to expensive linen, these covers offer the perfect touch of class.
I also love decorating with plants and earth tones, so both of these colors literally spoke to me on a spiritual level. And of course I had to line the headboard with plants, that's my thing.
Now I just need things to return to normal so I can actually have guests over!
